I personally started the Sassy Shirts® Company on a whim, so let me explain....

I'm a female motorcyclist, AKA Biker. I love riding and my favorite biker wear is usually a tank top or a t-shirt and jeans. I am a free lance writer for a national magazine and I go to a lot of events and bikefests and... being a woman, I like to shop! Now, at these events, it seems there's always an over abundance of T-shirts for men with clever, and yes, often vulgar comments, putting down women.The shirt choices for women are much more limited and usually printed on a basic unisex T-shirt. Although many women don't mind this, I do. I'm a biker and I love riding, but I also like being a woman. All this being said, I also tend to be sarcastic and quick witted in a fun way and over the years, I have collected numerous sarcastic sayings and other funnies.

The idea came to me to put my love of riding, shopping and sarcasm all together and create a line of casual shirts for women focusing on sarcasm and fun in relationships. No, I don't hate men... I think they are great and very amusing. But I do think it's time we women had a venue to express our comments from time to time. Enter... Sassy Shirts® !
